I honestly don't have much interest in card games. I've never done a miniatures game and can't really say anything about it but I have neither the time nor the patience to start right now. I do take interest board games, especially long-term strategy type games, but I get my fix for those from computer strategy games, like alpha centauri (a civ-type game by sid meier except it takes place on alpha centauri in the future - basically a sequel game to civ 2) and other comparable games. Right now though, I'm putting all my non-school/work efforts into a game based on D&D and all the fixes I want in the game based on all my years of collective experiences with playing and running the system since I started when 3rd edition was first released. My collective thoughts are here: www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297557

I thoroughly enjoyed the read, and I look forward to trying your system out.

Keira and I both play board games of all kinds. I used to play Magic: The Gathering back in its early years (quit just after Fallen Empires/Ice Age), and she used to play Spellfire, but I think we both prefer games that don't go on and on with endless expansions. Neither of us has even been into any wargaming stuff or the newer miniature games. I'm working on a Pathfinder setting in the far, far future of Earth (about 250 million years) called Aeons. Civilization has risen and fallen many times, humans and post-humans have left and returned again and again, and the world is littered with the detritus of all the technology that was made, as well as strange altered landscapes, alien creatures, and ancient facilities. I had this idea about two years ago and started working on it lazily in July of last year. Imagine my surprise when Monte Cook announced Numenera in September 2012! There are a LOT of similarities, because the inspirations are basically the same. My setting is more SCIENCE fiction and his is more science FANTASY, though. What I have so far lives at Obsidian Portal here: aeons.obsidianportal.com/wikis/main-page

My little world isnt based off the sterotypes you see the the dnd games. I wrote a small novel about it in 2004 but i have to reedit it. The world is populated by psuedoimmortal beings. Depending in the race depends on how they come back alive. What happened about 30 billion years ago the god of life and death was nearly destroyed by a being who had won the affection of the goddess of war and fire. When the other dieties finally stoped his mad rage, they imprissioned him in a dead planet that is on the outer realms of the megaverse. This planet had two suns and 15 moons and totally unsuitable for life due to extreme weather conditions.
Some time later the dragon dieities left to populate their own planet because they had been tired of the squabblings of lower races. Not being privy to the war, they settled on kaityf. They used their power to turn the planet into an inhabitabke spot for dragocean kind. Unfortuantely, the other deities seen this and coukd not allow the Dragoceans to have their own planet. Soon each deity visited and created their own race that could survive on this odd world. With each race, a champion was created until 14 distinct champions drew up armies and clashed. (Each champion is a uber prestigee class that stacks ontop of their normal race and profession, the fiftenth class is the warrior in the planet.) So after a huge war breaks out, the dragons disappear. The champions are killed off and reincarnated to different races and at different times. So the cycle of celestial power had been that no more than three champions had been alive on the planet at once time. The two that usually were able to move freely generally were polar opposites designed to destroy each other. Any race or crature could be born a champion but only 1 champion born to that race or creature atone time. The reincarnation cycle was around every 1,500 years. So then something strange happened, for the first time all 15 champions are alive again. Also now a 16th champion is on the planet that threats all life as the world knows it. The 16th champion has the means to create true death to a immortal. The 16th champion rules its race of monstrosities and was created by the god of life and death. The story focused on Persephone, thought to be a vargar'shean descent, but soon people realizes she is not. She is a dol'veh, which is a necromancer that uses her blood to perform spells and they use the mystic energy to perform autopcies, create cures for plauges, and heal as well as defend themselves and others. She can weave mutiple spells togther to create even more deadly effects.
The 16th champion is after her. A war is coming to the inhuman world and now the immortals face death and only one being has the power to stop it.

d20 future is compatible with 3.5e (and therefore pathfinder) but it would require some conversion.
